No signal from the mic
No signal warning is shown when the app not getting any signal from the microphone. There are reasons why it can happen:
- App background restrictions. In a pursuit to save as much battery as possible sometimes it's getting too far. Check our guide on this problem.
- Software issues happen. Restart your device. Check for system updates.
- Privacy restrictions during an ongoing call. Those rules vary by state and country, they depend on device manufacturers and firmware version. This feature could be taken away with a simple system update. There is not really much we can do about it without rooting our device.
Smart Recorder pauses ongoing recording when mic signal is lost and will resume it automatically when it's back.
